The Automatic Universal Shut Off Nozzle is very reliable and has a simple design with only one moving part. 

 It features:

• The nozzle works great with gas assist pressures up to 8,500 psi.
  
• Use on any molding machine 20 ton and up
• Disassembles in minutes with interchangeable parts, for quick and easy maintenance
• Use with any thermoplastic
• Hydraulics/Pneumatics not required
• No seals to wear
• Screws into standard barrel thread - 1 ¾ ” - 8Gas assist or conventional
• Only needs 200lbs of pressure to open the valve.
  

Nozzle Function:

The resin injection pressure opens the valve. Resin flows freely through the nozzle without shearing. When injection pressure is removed, the valve closes and seats.

With gas assist, when gas pressure is applied it forces the resin into the mold, preventing gas from entering the injection barrel.
